Prima Stuff ...

A while back I was lucky to be given some of the new Prima goodies to play with. Now that CHA is over and those products have had their official launch we've had the okay to share what we made.
Little Boo is a fabulous Halloween set of papers and embellishments and I used parts of the collection to make a Halloween banner and Christmas Fancy is a collection of gorgeous Christmas themed papers and embellishments.

Problems posting...

Naughty Blogger, I haven't been able to upload photographs this week but it seems to be working now. I've got a few cards to share. Some are Creative Team assignments and others are just me wanting to make a card. I've needed to post quite a few cards this week to people who've had new babies, have been celebrating a birthday or who are feeling poorly.

This owl is just so sweet - I used brads and extra wing pieces so that he could 'fly'

I won £10 on the lottery at the weekend so have spent lots of time wondering how to spend my winnings wisely, nobody wants the money to go to my head! I also sent off a layout to a magazine for publication so I am a happy bunny.
Tonight we went to see Mama Mia! at the cinema in town, how fantastic is this film? We're already planning a return visit!

Heads Up ...

If you like using digital goodies then you need to sign up for the Funky Playground Designs Newsletter. Big things are happening in the playground at the moment as the 'Teachers Pet' Design Apprentice competition kicks off and my lovely - and super talented - friend Angel Hartline is joining in with all the fun. I *think* that all the assignments will be given away as freebies but you must be signed up to the newsletter to recieve the passwords to download the zips. Sign up here.

I've been playing with some of Angel's designs in the last couple of weeks. I really loved the summery colours of the Island in the Sun set and used it to make this card and also used her album kit to create a chipboard album, already for when my brother and his girliefriend get back from their summer holidays.

Still here ...

I'm still here, I've just been super busy working on a few projects and trying to pretend I know what I'm doing whilst brushing shoulders with all these digi girls

Talking of digi girls, Corina is having a call for her personal creative team and has a little freebie on her blog to help you along. I'm still dithering about whether to enter but I used her freebie kit to scrap this photograph - I'll be returning back here in a few weeks when we go on holiday to Venice :)
I had good news from the nurosurgeon on Monday. My back problem has improved so much in the last 6 weeks or so that he's discharged me and said I don't need an operation at the moment and I went to visit the Headteacher of my school yesterday to arrange my return to work - yippeee! I can't wait as I've been off since before Christmas and I'm hoping to go back in September when the new academic year starts. Keeping my fingers crossed that in the next 6 weeks I continue to make progress like I have done during the last 6 weeks :)

English Summers ...

... aren't what they should be

If the rain continues I shall be needing to build an Ark with my papercrafting supplies!!

I thought I would share a few more cards that I made during my weekend crop.

A rather late LilyPad Friday ...

Before I went away on Friday I finished a few projects for the LilyPad girls. Each month the LilyPad designers join together to create a BYOC (Build Your Own Collaboration) kit. Each set stands alone but when you join them together they create a collaboration kit. Oh my goodness they just keep getting better and better.
I loved all the pieces but a few really stood out for me this month

A Weekend Spent Crafting...

I've had a really lovely weekend spent at a crop. I made some new friends and with a weekend dedicated to crafting I came home with a pile of finished projects.

These were some of the cards that I made and a little chipboard mini book
