Queen For A Day ...

I made this card for the current CPS challenge, she is a digital stamp by Cristy Croll that I've had sitting on my hard drive for ages but finally got around to making something with her. I'm feeling quite proud of my colouring on this one :) and I really love these bubbly bows made with the wide satin ribbon from the Ribbon Girl

I couldn't fit my 'Queen for A Day' sentiment on the front so I've popped it inside instead

Papertake Weekly Challenge ...

... Having a whale of a time!

The challenge at Papertake Weekly is 'just one' and there are a couple of 'just ones' on this card - 1 scalloped circle, 1 digital stamp, 1 whale and 1 ribbon - and have you seen that ribbon?? It's reversible so pink with turquoise spots on one side and on the other side turquoise with pink spots!

With Love ...

I think this is my favourite Huggabugg image and I love to colour her. I seem to have a 'love yellow' thing going on at the moment too, no idea where that has come from but these October Afternoon papers are certainly helping to fuel the yellow phase. I'm using the 8x8 October Afternoon pads that I bought from Jean (she has both the fly a kite and the thrift shop pads)

A Little Huggabugg ...

I had a bit of a spending spree at Christy Croll's digital stamp store last week and had a chance to play with some of the stamps when I was away at the Gibside Retreat that I attended last weekend. I've used papers by Zoe Pearn at Sweet Shoppe Designs for the purple card and coated the cupcake in gorgeous chunky glass glitter and the second card is Cosmo Cricket paper and Papertrey ribbon and stamped sentiment. I love both of these cards and now I think I am going to have to buy more of these stamps :)
