Lovely new places to spend your money...
My lovely friend Maria sent me off to look at One Hundred Wishes. Oh my goodness I practically had to buy one of everything it was so gorgeous! I was fairly restrained though and ordered some gorgeous lace, paper, pins and 'wish' raffle tickets and some other bits and bobs. Really fast delivery from across the pond and my goodies were all wrapped up in lovely tissue and ribbon which always make things seem even nicer.
Kay introduced me to another fantastic digital store which is right up my street (what I would give to be on the CT for that one) called Shabby Pickle Designs. Kay is a guest designer there this month and I got to play with the kit she is selling.
It's a gorgeous kit, really girly and has loads of papers and elements that aren't monkey related so it's just perfect for anything girly.

At the weekend Shabby Pickle had a free kit download which is pretty pretty pretty, I can't wait to play with it and I've got quite a long wish list too :)

Catching up ...

My second challenge was and advert challenge and this is the frame I created, it's a gift for a friend so I've left it empty so she can add her own photograph.
'Catching up' seems to be a frequent type of blog post around here but I want to share the cards I've been working on and I love to go right back to the start of my blog and look at the cards I've made and given away.

On Friday and again on Saturday at 11pm UK time and 5pm across in AmericaI am hosting 2 challenges over at Prima Hybrid as part of the InterNational Scrapbook Day celebrations. There will be challenges and games all weekend as well as prizes (both digital and traditional) and the PrimaHybrid Flowergirls are holding another blog party where you will be able to collect free templates (if you don't do digital you can save the templates and use them as sketches) as you hop from blog to blog. News... and a few challenges... and some enabling..

The dare for this week over at Daring CardMakers is the theme of 'hot and spicy'. I set myself my own little challenge to use orange products to represent the hot and spicy theme. I'm not a big fan of the colour orange so I was surprised to see how many orange coloured products I have in my store
(Digital papers bt Gina Miller, Dani Mogstad and Kim Christenson, WHSmith luggage tag, MM clip, Basic Grey button and brad, American Crafts ribbon, Prima flowers, Fancy Pants word art)
Do you fancy some enabling? Mary Fran over at NitWit Collections has created a fabulous space themed kit - it's absolutely gorgeous and perfect for anything boy related - layouts, cards, invitations etc. I've already got stuff printed out all ready for a few cards in the morning. Want a peep?
I've got more crafty news but I'll save that for another day - I'm off to bed now. Night Night xx

I got tagged...
I think Meg Ryan or Minnie Driver
I'm not really a celebrity follower but someone like Ty Pennington from Extreme Makeover would be nice, I wouldn't like to spend time stuck on a desert island with a blonde bimbo type person.
Well wouldn't you know - printer, scissors, gluestick!
4. If you could invent something to do anything what do you think it would be?
I would invent Cadburys chocolate that had no fat or calories in it, so I could eat it everyday
5. What are the last three books that you read?
Digital Artist Magazine
6. Qvc or create & Craft?
Err - neither!!
7. Docrafts or Dovecraft or DCWV?
Hmmm - I like DCWV cardstock as it has a white core so it's fab for sanding and distressing and I've bought several packs of dovecraft brads. Wouldn't go near DoCrafts with a barge pole
I was the first baby girl to be born in the North East after the sex discrimination laws were passed in 1975 - me and my mam were in the local paper. Huh - not much of a claim to fame really xx
