Flower Power ...

I found this great tutorial over at Split Coast Stampers this morning whilst I was looking for something else and of course I had to make one straight away and that is why it is 1PM and I still have my pyjamas on

Cards by the bucketload!

Well, not really buckets but a few that I made this morning whilst sitting at my newly arranged and tidied crafting desk with my doggie snoozing - and snoring! - on my feet
The challenge this week over on the Hero Arts blog was to make monochromatic cards so I set about it this morning making first the crocodile card and then the pink birthday card. After this I made the other pink 'celebrate' card just because I could and I wanted to use one of these new flowers that I bought when I was in Newcastle through the week.

This final card is made with my new watering can stamp that I bought just because I thought it looked like a useful sort of stamp and I had that flowery paper sitting on my desk left over from another card

I'm back!

My goodness I can't believe it's been a month since my last post. The last few weeks have been crazy busy like you wouldn't believe. School finally finished for the year and I passed on the lovelies that I have been teaching this year onto a new teacher (good luck Val  ) and there was such a lot of work to be done to move all my stuff as I am changing classrooms for the new year. Anyway, the holidays have begun and I am enjoying being home, a few days out, a couple of lie ins and more crafting time.

So, back to normal again on this blog :)

These cards are for Sweet Shoppe Designs, the strawberry card was made for my nursery nurse at school which was a bit tongue in cheek as she's single handedly eaten all the strawberries from the school garden and we've had quite a few strawberry jokes during the last couple of weeks. The anniversary card was for my Mam and Dad as they celebrated 38 years of marriage this week
