New at By LORi Designs ...

Lori is starting to sell her Puddle Jumper stamps as digital stamps from her By LORi Designs shop. These little people are slightly more grown up than the other Puddle Jumpers and will be known as PJs and can be found here

The pumpkin in the little truck made me lean towards orange and I used these papers by Crystal Wilkerson together with a lovely orange polka dot button and button twine from the Ribbon Girl

I have to go now - Haggis, having spent the majority of the weekend doing this

... has now decided he wants to play

End Of A Holiday ...

It's the last day of my half term holiday today, back to school tomorrow for seven weeks of fun as we zoom along to Christmas. I've been getting into the Christmas spirit myself this weekend and have made several Christmas cards including this one which is my entry for the Charisma Cardz challenge and I used the brand new Nitwit digital kit, Mooey Christmas that I love

The challenge is to create a matching set and I have made a card with it's own box

I added a bubbly bow using the wide satin ribbon and a heart pin from the Ribbon Girl and a truckload of Stickles just because you can never have too much glitter :)

Queen For A Day ...

I made this card for the current CPS challenge, she is a digital stamp by Cristy Croll that I've had sitting on my hard drive for ages but finally got around to making something with her. I'm feeling quite proud of my colouring on this one :) and I really love these bubbly bows made with the wide satin ribbon from the Ribbon Girl

I couldn't fit my 'Queen for A Day' sentiment on the front so I've popped it inside instead

Sprinkle A Little Magic ...

I coloured this image when I was up far too early at the weekend but I only got around to making her up into a card yesterday. The image is a digital Stamp from Cristy Croll and the beautiful papers are from this digital kit from Sweet Shoppe Designs

The sentiment stamp is actually just a computer font that I printed out but I thought it was sweet. I added a truckful of Stickles glitter and that gorgeous ribbon bow is the openweave ribbon from The Ribbon Girl.  This is my entry into the challenge at Papertake Weekly (sparkly and bright) ABC Challenge (G for Glitter)

Halloween Goody Bags

It is my turn today to take over the Sweet Shoppe Designs blog and I have a step by step post to make these easy peasy goody bags.  They are so easy to make - if you can giftwrap a parcel you can make these!

You can find my blog post with the instructions here

Catching Up ...

I'm on holiday this week! It's half term in English schools so I get a week off.  In theory a week to relax but actually I am busier than ever - enjoying it, just very busy! and very busy crafting and making cards. Most I can't share yet because they are comissions and magazine work but these ones that I've created during the last couple of weeks I can share.

Glug, Glug, Glug, Glug ...

Glug, Glug, Glug .............

I'm back again with my entry into the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge.  These Half Pint Heroes stamps have been sat on my desk calling my name for the last couple of weeks and I finally got around to using them today

I coloured the images with Copics and added glitter courtesy of Ranger Stickles and the little glug glug glug bubbles are dewdrop embellishments from the Ribbon Girl.  The patterned paper is from this spacerocket digital kit from Sweet Shoppe Designs, I liked the way it coordinates perfectly with the little metal submarine

Sparkly Princess ...

Well, you can't have a Princess card without sparkle can you?

Today I spent some time stamping and colouring and making a few cards. I had a quick waltz down my blog list and found a great sketch challenge at the Friday Sketchers blog and a challenge at the Cardvaarks blog to decorate the inside and the outside of a card so I've combined them and made this card

I used this gorgeous Princess digital Lollipop stamp from Lori Boyd Designs, coloured with Copics and covered in Stickles
The pink satin ribbon and aqua dewdrop embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl
Papers are October Afternoon - I used up the scraps from decorating the front to use inside for the Cardvaarks challenge

The Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge

There is another colour challenge over at the Ribbon Girl blog, this month the colours are red and green and there is a great prize.  This is my project - for a change I didn't make a card :)

The knitted stocking is a Christmas decoration I bought - can't knit!

The challenge runs for 2 weeks until Ocober 31st

Pretty Cards ...

You might have noticed (if you're a regular visitor to my blog) that I have an addiction to Crystal Wilkerson's digital designs. I don't think there is a single sheet of paper or digital kit that this girl has designed that I haven't loved and I was so pleased to see her make the move across to real paper designs through the Echo Park paper line earlier in the year. Anyway, I downloaded her Rainbow Sherbet kit this week and instantly had to go and play at my desk and I made these cards

I loved the colours and patterns of the papers and of course I had to add some Stickles sparkle (stocked up on Saturday from my lovely friend Jean) and then - just because I thought they needed even more sparkle and prettiness - I added a diamante heart charm, heart pins and pink ribbons from the Ribbon Girl

Pure Friendship ...

I created this card just for me - not for a challenge, not for a design team assignment or a magazine project. Just something pretty that I wanted to create and I love how it turned out :)

Princess ...

This is my card for the Pink Elephant Challenge blog Design Team.  We were so lucky this week as we got to play with some of the new Lori Boyd PuddleJumper stamps, available here.  I just love this little Princess and of course she had to have a pretty pink dress and a bit of sparkle ;)

The saddlestitch and scalloped spot ribbon as well as the pins and bakers twine are from the Ribbon Girl, the little Princess charm is from the Hobby House, the digital paper is from this digital kit and I added some beautiful and very sparkly American Crafts Thickers and used Stickles for even more sparklyness

In A Flowerpot ...

This is my card for the Card Patterns challenge blog.

The stamp is a digital Lollipop stamp from Lori Boyd, coloured with Copics and the glittery-ness is Stickles. The ribbon is a new type of Spotty Organza from the Ribbon Girl (lots of gorgeous colours) and the embossed paper is at least 2 year old Doodlebug that I found in my cupboard whilst looking for something else (as you do)
