Summer is almost here ...

There's another challenge over at the Polkadoodles challenge blog and I've gone all summery for my card ... as befitting a 'just returned from a weeks holiday in the hot sunny sun and I'm feeling the cold in this Northern city in which I live' girl

What could be more summery than turquoise sea, shades, an inflatable and a cocktail (or two!!)

Easter Celebrations!

The new anything goes challenge is on the Polkadoodles blog today and I'm making an Easter card - calorie free of course ;)

I used papers from the Tatty Twinkle Easter digital kit and the Some Bunny Adores You digital stamp from Polkadoodles.

I love this little Winnie (from the Winnie, Fruit Punch download kit) dropping her friend a note to wish them good luck and that beautiful frame is the Bubbleicious frame die and I cut the centre out with my craft knife to turn it into a frame instead of a mat

I'm back ... and I have news

I had a lovely message last week from Nikky at Polkadoodles inviting me to join her Design Team. Well of course I thought about it for all of 10 seconds before replying with a big fat "yes!" and really that is why I have resurrected my blog which has been quite neglected for the last couple of years. I've been using Facebook and Instagram to share the cards that I make and I will be continuing to use my other social media accounts. You can find me on Facebook and Instagram

So, onto sharing my first challenge card for Polkadoodles

For this 'Spring Flowers' card I chose to use this gorgeous little Winnie image (precoloured) and papers from the 'Fruit Punch' download kit at Polkadoodles.

I teamed the pretty papers and image with satin ribbon, organza rose trim, paper flower, Stickles glitter and flower shaped decorative pins all from the Ribbon Girl
