More Cards, More Challenges ...

Well I went back to school today after a week of snow closures, I have some time to make up from when I didn't get in last week but I when I looked at the box of cards that I created during those snowy days I was really pleased. The snow where I live is mostly still here but it has also been joined by its friend thick ice and it is so cold that I can imagine it will be here for several weeks yet. Anyway, onto the cards that I wanted to share.

This first card is for the current Just Magnolia challenge, to add sparkle. Well sparkle should really be my middle name and I used my favourite stardust Stickles on all the edges as well as pretty Doodlebug glitter on the chipboard star. The little Magnolia was stamped with Jane's stamp when we got together for a crafty weekend with some friends. The red and white Divine Twine bakers twine, gingham ribbon and teeny tiny silver bells are all from Ribbon Girl and the papers are from this Nitwit digital kit

My second card for today is my entry into the Waltzingmouse Sketch challenge, I loved the sketch and decided to use a little giftcard pocket on the front of the card so that it becomes a giving card.

The papers are from this Sweet Shoppe digital kit and the silk ribbon, Stickles, pink Divine Twine bakers twine and more of those teeny tiny bells are from Ribbon Girl

Today is Day 4 in the Chicken Soup 12 Days of Christmas recipe extravaganza  and I get to share this card that I made for the theme of holly and ivy

I made the holly paper by stamping in red and green - I love how it turned out. All the stamps are from Waltzingmouse, the gingham ribbon is from Ribbon Girl, dies are Nestabilities and the felt is from Papertrey

I'm back again with my entry into the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge.  These Half Pint Heroes stamps have been sat on my desk calling my name for the last couple of weeks and I finally got around to using them today

I coloured the images with Copics and added glitter courtesy of Ranger Stickles and the little glug glug glug bubbles are dewdrop embellishments from the Ribbon Girl.  The patterned paper is from this spacerocket digital kit from Sweet Shoppe Designs, I liked the way it coordinates perfectly with the little metal submarine

WaltzingMouse Sketch Challenge

This is my second post of the day, scroll down for my earlier post about a new challenge at The Ribbon Girl blog.

The sketch at Waltzingmouse this week is lovely and simple and inspired me to use this fab digital kit from Nitwit Collections. I printed out several small pieces of paper, cut into squares, inked and then glittered all the edges before adhering them to a black cardblank to make the colours really pop.

The ribbon is new from the Ribbon Girl, gorgeous saddlestitch ribbon which is exactly the same as some that I have been buying from a US rubber stamp company - I am such a happy bunny about that!

Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge ...

I have joined in with another challenge blog at the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge Blog, they had a simple sketch this week (challenge number 10) so I felt the need to make a simple card - no patterned paper huh?

I used the Midnight Feast stamps from Waltzingmouse and the dots down there at the bottom (that you can't really see in the picture but look fine in real life) are Papertrey. The black jewels are from 3DJean and the buttons, twine and ribbon are from Ribbon Girl
